Short vacation

Assalamu'alaykum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh..

On saturday I and Panda (It's my husband) were going to Sari Ater for a Family Gathering occasion held by the company that husband works for. We actually should be in Ciater at 12 a.m. but thanks to traffic jam we arrived at about 2:30 p.m in Sari Ater on our big hunger and craving for lunch.

The weather was obviously a disruption for the committee. It's raining all the time so they couldn't hold the program as scheduled with comfort and ease. So I and Panda decided to plan our very own agenda.  He studied in Bandung for 3 years and Ciater - Lembang is like his playing ground. He knows where interesting places are and  he knows some people here and there. Alhamdulillah I married a very humble person :D

So we went to a very nice waterfall near the resort. Common used word for waterfall here is "curug" :D "Curug Sadim". They always use it instead of "air terjun". Bahasa sunda mereun nya. Anyway...we went by foot to curug Sadim. It was a very tiring ± 3km walk. Panda obviously enjoyed the scene of me being exhausted. He grins all the way back from curug to the resort. fffhhh...

Well talking about curug Sadim, it is a very nice hidden place in between hills of tea plantations. Tiredness is somehow suddenly disappeared when we saw the beautiful scenery. But sadly we couldn't documented it on any photos because our phone were running out of battery. I browsed earlier this morning and found this blog about curug samad. The author written this article in 2010, and now the path to the waterfall is enhanced with beautiful white trumpet flowers along the side of the path. It is nice to see this scenery especially when there are just a few visitors :).

The next day we parted from the group because Panda wanted to visit his old buddy. A very nice ikhwan with his beautiful wife and their 3.5 and 1 years old cute children. They even gave us a freshly picked (super big) cauliflowers from their garden. Besides we also accidentally become acquainted with a very humble ustadz and his family. This family also gave us a box of Tahu Tauhid. Subhaanallah... this is what we called beauty in islam. We could be happier over simple things. May Allah Ta'ala bless them and their family.

Alhamdulillah...
and thank you to Panda who's taking me to this wonderful vacation and introduced me to some good people :)
